Job Description


Student Worker Career Connection Intern

Number of Openings: 1

Purpose/Objective of the Role:

Assist Career Catalysts with marketing newsletter creation event set up and other initiatives the further the mission and impact of Career Connection.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the production of newsletters marketing materials advertising events and event catering.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of careerrelated services and programs that are offered in Career Connection.
  • Work with the Career Catalyst to find new ways to reach out to students and propose marketing strategies to increase event attendance.
  • Help with programs/initiatives such as the Career Fair Strengths Assessment Alumni Partners and more!
  • Represent Career Connection in a positive and professional manner while enthusiastically working toward solutions for OWU students.

Qualifications:

  1. Must be reliable detailoriented possess initiative and followthrough and have a strong motivation to complete projects.
  2. Excellent communication skills; emphasis on writing and interpersonal skills.
  3. Verbal coaching/active listening skills.
  4. Creative/Artistic skills writing advertisements creating posters flyers banners and social media posts.
  5. Knowledge of Google Suite & Microsoft Word and Canva proficiency preferred.
