YOUR TASKS
- Develop concepts draft and detailed designs for manufacturing aids tools and manufacturing systems for assembly and disassembly processes of aircraft engines
- Coordinate design tasks in close collaboration with internal and external service providers
- Create standardcompliant and workshopready designs (manufacturing aids tools and transport aids) based on national and international laws guidelines norms and standards
- Develop solutions and alternative solutions for specific technical problems in the field of engine assembly
- Specification of tools and machinery and technical support throughout the purchasing process
- Participation in internal and external audits and process analyses based on MTU quality methods
- Provide expert advice to internal and external customers
YOUR PROFILE
- Completed studies in mechanical/aerospace engineering or design & manufacturing
- Professional experience in technical documentation and the design of fixtures and tools preferably in the aviation industry
- Professional experience with CAD systems specifically Siemens NX
- Crosscultural competence and experience in collaboration with international partners
- Excellent analytical thinking and methodological skills to solve complex technical issues
- Strong organizational and communication skills and focus on teamwork
- Experience in dealing with various IT systems (SAP Siemens Teamcenter Siemens NX)
- Fluent English and at least basic proficiency in German
