SmartWorking (Hybrid Working)
EniProgetti UK operates a SmartWorking policy allowing personnel to work for up to 12 working days/month from home or a similar secure UK location and these 12 days can be available even where personnel are on leave for a portion of the month. As such typically around 60 of time working remotely is available for individuals who wish to take advantage of this.
Description of Project/Role and Main Responsibilities
A Senior Piping Engineer is required to be involved on an FPSO EPC project supporting the Project Discipline Lead Engineer.
The main responsibilities are:
Project piping lead engineer
3D model plot plan layouts piping general arrangements and associated deliverables.
Engineering and coordination of piping layout activities and interface with piping materials and stress
Management of piping engineering and layout activities for EPC phase of Oil & Gas project.
Review of Contractors piping documents and layouts
Responding to Contractors technical queries
Coordination with other engineering disciplines.
Coordination with Contractors piping specialists.
Attendance at project review meetings and meetings with contractors.
Candidates qualifications professional experience and skills required for the position
A Senior Piping engineer with experience as a Project piping lead engineer.
Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
Knowledge of AutoCAD Smartplant 3D.
Experience of working on or monitoring of FEED and EPC projects for Oil and Gas Processing facilities.
Experience with oil & gas operating company in PMS role
Driven and able to work with a high level of autonomy on assigned tasks.
Specific expertise in FPSO and Offshore technologies would be advantageous.
Knowledge of Eni tools and standards would represent a significant advantage for this position.
