Are you passionate about seeing youth thriving in their daytoday lives Are you passionate about seeing youth experience wholeness and transformation Our Jane and Finch team has served in the community for over twenty years and is hiring an Outreach Worker to support existing programming and explore the development of new programs.

Youth Unlimited Jane & Finch is an area team of Youth Unlimited serving the community of Jane and Finch. Our vision put simply is to see transformed youth transforming our city. We do this through grassroots programming a focus on wholistic transformation and a network of local partnerships. This includes afterschool programs sports programs summer camps and more.

The JaneFinch Outreach Workerwill work alongside existing programs and explore new and creative ways to engage youth in the community. Our desire is to connect with youth through Christcentered discipleship relationships to give hope inspire vision and build the next generation of leaders to transform their community.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with leading weekly programming for children youth and young adults
- Build mentoring relationships with local youth
- Assist with recruitment andmanagement of volunteers
- Assist with any ongoing administrative tasks including attendance registration forms lesson preparation program budgeting and ministry updates
- Opportunity to pioneer new future ministry initiatives (e.g. new ideas to serve youth down the road)
Requirements:
- Pursue a vital spiritual life and growing relationship with God as a devoted follower of Jesus Christ
- Be a faithful and contributing member of a local church
- A deep commitment to a holistic approach to proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ and Gods Kingdom
- Able to engage youth from an evolving culture
- 2 years experience working with youth and/or children
- Leadership experience is a plus
Position Information
We have opportunities for a parttime or fulltime position with this role beginning at 17 hours/week. The salary for this position is determined on a scale based on education and experience ranging from $55960 to $61470 for a full time salary 44 hours/week) and is funded 100 on a missionary basis requiring the gathering of a personal support team.
