Job Description

Senior Personnel Analyst (Inbound)
Macdill Air Force Base Tampa FL

The Senior Personnel Analyst (Inbound) assists the United States Marine Corps Forces Central Command (MARCENT) and subordinate commands by serving within the manpower directorate task area. The positions primary mission involves assisting in the analysis of manpower requirements to support operations. Additionally the manpower directorate helps to advise and assist the Commander in matters relating to personnel operations management policy administration awards correspondence travel management the Government Travel Charge Card (GTCC) Program and administrative support to all Marines stationed at MacDill AFB as well as individual augments in the USCENTCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR). The Senior Personnel Analyst (Inbound) directly supports services for MARCENTs G1 section including support to the MARCENT Personnel Administration Center Director in the inprocessing of personnel to ensure the efficient of MARCENT OAMS tasks both within the continental United States (CONUS) and outside the continental United States (OCONUS). The Senior Personnel Analyst (Inbound) will perform the following duties:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the MARCENT Personnel Administration Center Director.
  • Assist in the inprocessing of all permanent personnel (Civilian Marines and Navy) being serviced by ADRUC 45740 and reservists ordered to active duty arriving by Permanent Change of Station/Permanent Change of Assignment (PCS/PCA) to MARCENT 5th MEB or other supported organizations.
  • Conduct a thorough audit of the Electronic Service Record (ESR) and pay entitlements on all personnel.
  • Assist in conducting all initial join audits ensure accuracy of the individuals service and pay records and the completion of the travel claims process.
  • Ensure that any errors in entitlements are discovered immediately and that the Director or Deputy Director PAC are notified of the financial impacts.

EDUCATION

  • HS diploma or equivalent required.

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum ten years of military experience.
  • Experience in personnel administration including inprocessing of permanent personnel civilians and military service members.
  • Proven experience conducting audits of Electronic Service Records (ESR) and pay entitlements ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Experience in managing and processing travel claims including conducting initial join audits and handling discrepancies.
  • Experience supporting personnel administration centers or similar entities coordinating the inprocessing of personnel and managing related administrative tasks.

CORE SKILLS/COMPETENCIES

Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities

  • Expertise in supporting the inprocessing of personnel including conducting thorough audits of Electronic Service Records (ESR) and pay entitlements.
  • Strong skills in auditing service records and ensuring accuracy in pay entitlements and service documentation.
  • Ability to identify errors in entitlements and promptly notify the Director or Deputy Director of the financial impacts and required corrective actions.
  • Proficiency in processing and managing travel claims ensuring that all necessary steps are completed and errors are addressed.
  • Advanced proficiency with groupware applications (SharePoint MS Teams) and the Microsoft Office suite (Word Power Point Excel etc. desired.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills desired.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Required to sit for extended periods of time and maintain focus.

SPECIAL POSITION NOTATIONS

  • Travel is required.
  • Qualification as an authorized company driver is required. All authorized company drivers must have a valid drivers license current automobile insurance and a driving record that is acceptable to the companys auto insurance provider.

SECURITY CLEARANCE

  • A Secret clearance is required for this position.
