Full time Urgent Care Veterinarian New Opportunity Flexible Schedule Canton MI / Detroit MI

A dynamic partner hospital is seeking a passionate and dedicated fulltimeUrgent Care Veterinarian to join their team in Canton MI. This role is an excellent opportunity for a veterinarian looking to make a positive impact in animal care with a focus on urgent care medicine.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide highquality medical care to animals in an urgent care setting.
  • Diagnose and treat a variety of illnesses and injuries.
  • Administer medications fluids and provide other necessary treatments.
  • Perform surgeries as required.
  • Maintain accurate medical records.
  • Communicate clearly with clients about their pets health and treatment plans.

Ideal Candidate: This opportunity is open to veterinarians of all experience levels with special consideration given to new graduates. The clinic is looking for individuals who are:

  • Passionate about veterinary medicine.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • DVM/VMD degree from an AVMAaccredited college (or completion of the ECFVG/PAVE program).
  • Active license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Michigan (or ability to obtain one).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload including urgent care and surgery cases.
