Job Description
We are looking for a Workshop Technician to join our Workshop Surface Solutions team. This position is fulltime and will be based in Blackburn Aberdeen.
Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain wide range of Archer Surface Solutions equipment including HPUs Centrifugal Pumps and Magnoveyor units
- Assesses technical and personal risk during repair and maintenance process.
- Ensure that all equipment used in support of ARCHER operations is serviceable fitforpurpose compliant with client specifications and is correctly certified.
- Ensure all equipment is prepared in accordance to maintenance procedures and checklists followed correctly
- Pressure testing of Archer equipment
- Ensure spares stock is controlled and levels are maintained
- Assist in planning of equipment allocation and certification
- Ensure assets are tracked upon arrival and site allocation
- Lead safety culture with focus on Archers five core values in line with other workshop personnel
- Supporting other workshop tasks required
- Have technical trade training recognised by industry
- Full UK driving licence
- Hydraulic repair and maintenance
- Pneumatic (Basic) repair and maintenance
- Pressure Testing experience
- Ability to understand technical drawings
- Good computer skills with basic Word and Excel experience
- Able to work on own initiative as well as a team environment
- Experience in handling magnetic equipment
- Centrifugal Pump maintenance and repair
- Overhead crane experience
