Job Title: Labor Technician
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Labor Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in various weather conditions and possess expertise in demolition and outside construction. As a Labor Technician you will be responsible for reporting any unsafe conditions or acts lifting over 40 lbs continuously working in confined spaces and at heights participating in daily health and safety meetings and being willing to travel out of town.
Key Responsibilities:
- Report any unsafe conditions or acts observed during work.
- Ability to lift over 40 lbs continuously throughout the workday.
- Perform tasks in confined spaces and at heights.
- Participate actively in daily health and safety meetings.
- Willingness to travel out of town for work assignments.
- Ability to work on and/or near water bodies.
- Execute construction tasks including but not limited to hand digging building forms installation of piping (PVC/HDPE) hand demolition and other construction activities.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in outside construction and demolition.
- Ability to work effectively in various weather conditions.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
- Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
- Willingness to travel for work assignments.
- Ability to work on or near water bodies is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in constructionrelated fields is desirable.
- Experience with equipment operation (e.g. excavators loaders etc..
