Job Summary
The University of Portland Public Health and Wellness Program in the School of Nursing & Health Innovations invites applications for Adjunct Instructors to teach teach public health courses including introduction to public health epidemiology leadership and health environmental health health coaching and research methods. This position is open on a continuous ongoing basis with positions filled as needed. The Public Health and Wellness Program is dedicated to creating the conditions for students to realize their best selves and serve the public with compassion and skill. Pedagogically the program focuses on students vitality and capacity for creativity as much as on the delivery of information. Successful candidates will possess a balance between content expertise and effective teaching practices. Adjunct Instructors are hired on a per semester basis and teach assigned Public Health and Wellness courses not to exceed six credit hours (or equivalent) per semester.
