Randolph High School is seeking a Long Term Substitute Special Education Teacher for their Independent Learning Center Program from approximately April 1 2025 through the end of the school year June 16 2025.Days 120 $250 per dayDays 21 $307 per dayThe Independent Learning Center (ILC) is a subseparate program responding to the needs of students with intellectual impairments who are unable to access gradelevel curriculum and need to have material presented at a developmentallevel commensurate with their abilities. This program also provides services to students on the autism spectrum and also provides small group instruction and a small studenttostaff ratio consistent with strategies designed to promote academic and social success. General Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Develop weekly lesson plans that contain all of the required components covering all content areas (with an emphasis on Math and Science).Deliver instruction utilizing appropriate resources equipment materials technology and instructional strategies.Provide differentiated instruction based on the students individual level of functioning and preferred learning modalities.Consult with BCBA utilizing ABA methodologies in instruction with students as necessary.Provide a positive role model of appropriate and respectful interactions with students and staff.Develop teach and review clear and concise classroom rules routines procedures and expectations.Develop a daily/weekly schedule of instructional and noninstructional activities for each paraprofessional.Maintain constant and ongoing communication regarding students and all facets of the program.Follow the appropriate chain of command when questions issues and/or concerns arise.Accurately complete all required paperwork within the designated timelines.
