Job Description
Job Title: Training Consultant
Job Type: Full time/12 months contract
Location: 111 Progress Avenue Scarborough
Reporting to the Director Organizational Development & Learning the ideal candidate will be responsible for designing delivering and evaluating comprehensive training programs.
Training Facilitation and Coordination
- Proven experience in identifying training needs designing targeted programs and delivering highimpact training sessions.
- Strong communication skills to engage participants effectively and convey complex information in an accessible way.
Instructional Design & Learning Technologies
- Experience in creating interactive and immersive eLearning content ideally with tools like Articulate or other instructional design software such as Vyond Synthesia.
- Knowledge of LMS administration (specifically UKG) to track and manage training records accurately.
Project Planning and Management
- Demonstrated project planning skills including the ability to scope prioritize and manage multiple training initiatives on schedule and within budget.
- Skilled in coordinating resources timelines and milestones to ensure training programs align with organizational goals and employee development needs.
Analytical Skills for Assessment
- Familiarity with posttraining evaluation methods and the ability to translate feedback into actionable improvements.
Adaptability and Collaboration
- Ability to work closely with departmental leaders and provide backup for team members.
- A willingness to support administrative needs as required demonstrating flexibility and commitment to team success.
