Job Description

Job Title: Cell Lead
Location: Salem NH
Purpose of Position
The Cell Lead is responsible for overseeing the daytoday operations of a manufacturing cell. This role requires strong leadership skills a deep understanding of lean manufacturing principles and the ability to motivate and manage a team to achieve production goals quality standards safety standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential Duties and/or Functions
  • Observe all TWCs Safety rules and regulations.
  • Observe all TWCs Employee Guidelines
  • Lead and manage a team of production workers within the cell ensuring a safe and productive work Monitor and manage production schedules to meet customer demands and delivery deadlines.
  • Ensure that APCs policies and procedures are being followed and completed.
  • Follow Leader Standard work outline for all daily activities.
  • Maintain Tier 1 meeting and board.
  • Implement and sustain lean manufacturing practices identify opportunities for process improvements and participate in Kaizen events.
  • Ensure shift to shift passdown information is transferred effectively during cell shift change.
  • Provided guidance for their work cell in the absence of the production supervisor and/or manager.
  • Address and resolve productionrelated issues ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assists the supervisor or manager with a variety of administrative training communication and operations tasks for their work cell.
  • Perform plant shut down and start up as required.
  • Able to perform duties outside of established procedures with minimum supervision.
  • Complete and certify training of Level I II and III operators.
  • Contacts appropriate supervisor immediately upon any EHS near miss or incident.
  • Contacts appropriate supervisor for issues related to employee performance.
Other Requirements
  • Ability to work overtime
  • Ability to work on holidays as needed
  • Short notice shift coverage
  • Frequent physical demands lifting up to 50 lbs.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Skills: Problemsolving communication and interpersonal skills; proficiency in using manufacturing software and tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 35 years in manufacturing or related.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices
  • Mathematical skills

The anticipated hourly rate for candidates who will work in Salem NH is $26.10. The final rate offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job type and years of experience within the industry education etc.
