Job Description
Position is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the mechanical equipment of a new 300 MMSCFD cryogenic natural gas processing plant in the Delaware Basin. The Plant Mechanic is responsible for the installation operations maintenance troubleshooting and repairs of plant equipment which includes but is not limited to the following:
* Natural gas and liquids separation & filtration
* Condensate stabilization
* Amine treating and gas dehydration
* Turbine reciprocating and screw compression
* Turbine power generation
* Propane refrigeration
* Natural gas cryogenic processing
* CO2 compression treating and dehydration
* Reverse Osmosis water treating & pumps
* Heat exchangers & air coolers
* Transmitters valves actuators and other instrumentation
* Gas and liquids measurement equipment
* PLCs and plant control safety and communications systems
* PDC MCC transformers breakers wiring motors VFDs generators and additional electrical equipment
* Computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
In addition the Plant Mechanic will be a key contributor to EOGs proactive safety culture. This is a unique grassroots opportunity in which the Plant Mechanic will play a role in the construction of the facility along with the development of plant maintenance and operating procedures. The Plant Mechanic will interface regularly with instrumentation & electrical technician plant operator engineering control room supply chain management environmental and safety teams. The ideal candidate will possess a broad knowledge of equipment maintenance and operations and have a proven track record as a leader. Position will be based at the Janus Plant site near Mentone Texas. Position will have a rotational schedule of day shifts with night callout responsibilities during the shift. Housing will be provided during the shift.

Key Responsibilities:
* Serve as a safety leader in EOGs proactive safety culture
* Operate and maintain the plant mechanical equipment in accordance with operating procedures
* Conduct preventative maintenance and troubleshoot plant equipment
* Optimize plant preventative maintenance program to improve plant safety reliability and efficiency
* Perform equipment testing and commission plant equipment and systems
* Execute and document work orders and support plant mechanical integrity program
* Plan and conduct plant outages and related maintenance safely and efficiently
* Complete Management of Change (MOC) tasks with required documentation
* Manage and track parts inventory consumables work orders and costs
* Coordinate with operations and safety teams to ensure Process Safety Management (PSM) compliance
* Verify Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and participate in periodic plant PHAs
Qualifications:
* Unwavering commitment to personnel safety and regulatory compliance
* Three years of Plant Mechanic or related experience preferred
* Solid understanding of mechanical electrical control and safety systems
* Strong knowledge of cryogenic plant operations equipment & maintenance
* Excellent problem solving communication and leadership skills
* Experience in PSM facilities and CMMS programs is considered a plus
* Knowledge of turbine compression & power generation is considered a plus
* Ability to work in a highly innovative and fastpaced environment
* High School diploma
