Were looking for a Head of Vendor Management & Strategic Sourcing to join us based in Hobart or Brisbane. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape how we engage with vendors and drive strategic sourcing initiatives that create lasting value for MyState and our customers

This is a specialised highimpact role where youll be the driving force behind MyStates vendor management and strategic sourcing. As a subject matter expert and trusted advisor to the business youll set and execute sourcing strategies that deliver innovation longterm value and customer impact. Success in this role requires exceptional prioritisation strong influencing skills and a proactive strategic approach to managing vendor relationships.
This role is about more than contracts its about creating commercial strategies that enable high performing outcomes. From negotiating complex deals and overseeing the contract lifecycle to ensuring supplier performance and managing risk youll be central to aligning vendor relationships with our business goals. Youll work closely with legal risk and technology teams ensuring a collaborative and integrated approach to how we partner.
Were looking for a confident and capable leader who brings deep expertise in strategic sourcing and vendor management particularly in complex highvalue environments. If youve got experience navigating financial services regulations managing governance frameworks or incorporating ESG into sourcing practices youll thrive here.
