Job Description
Providence Staffing is seeking a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Worker to assist with the efficient handling storage and delivery of materials in Brevard County FL. The Warehouse Worker will be responsible for offloading receiving storing and pulling materials while ensuring accuracy and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The ideal candidate will have experience operating warehouse equipment and the ability to follow directions and complete tasks in a timely manner. This is a temptoperm position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offload materials from delivery vehicles and inspect for accuracy and quality.
- Receive organize and store supplies in designated warehouse locations.
- Pull and prepare materials for delivery according to orders and instructions.
- Count sort and place materials on pallets for efficient storage and transport.
- Operate forklifts pallet jacks and hand trucks safely and effectively.
- Follow written and verbal instructions to complete assigned tasks accurately.
- Maintain an organized and clean warehouse environment.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accuracy and report discrepancies.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a secure working environment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications:
- Ability to read write and follow directions accurately.
- Competence in operating forklifts pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Valid Florida drivers license and a clean driving record.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Previous experience in warehouse operations is preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements:
- Heavy Work: Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally up to 50 pounds of force frequently and up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Capable of standing walking bending lifting and performing physical tasks for extended periods.
Work Environment:
- This role involves working in a warehouse environment which may include exposure to varying temperatures noise and potential hazards.

Compensation:
The compensation for this position is $15.25 per hour.
