Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Allocating recourses to meet production demand.
- Monitoring and adjusting production process to meet product quality specifications.
- Ensuring quality feed is given to the plant.
- Ensuring accurate interpretation of product test sample results to ensure the required product quality.
- Ensuring cost saving initiatives
- Coordinating maintenance activities
- Eskom CQMP compliance
- Ensuring external and internal resources are correctly allocated in terms of time and skills needed.
- Managing departmental budget
- Ensuring safe work practice and compliance with company SHE requirements
- High level management reports
- Lab management
- Washability report analysis
- Plant related report database maintenance
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Degree in Metallurgy
- 5 years management experience in plant processing (DMS) in a coal mining operation
