At PwC our people in tax services focus on providing advice and guidance to clients on tax planning compliance and strategy. These individuals help businesses navigate complex tax regulations and optimise their tax positions.In indirect tax at PwC you will focus valueadded tax (VAT) goods and services tax (GST) sales tax and other indirect taxes. Your work will involve providing advice and guidance to clients on indirect tax planning compliance and strategy helping businesses navigate complex indirect tax regulations and optimise their indirect tax positions.

710 years of experience in ERP (SAP/Oracle) and Tax Engine (Onesource Vertex Avalara Sovos)
Experience in implementation of tax related solutions in SAP/Oracle including but not limited to tax requirements for direct tax such as corporate income tax operational transfer pricing state income taxation and indirect (transaction tax) solutions including but not limited to using native SAP/Oracle functionality ONESOURCE Indirect Determination Vertex Avalara Sovos (Taxware)
Strong ERP skills (SAP/Oracle) Configuration related to Tax Business Process (ordertocash and procuretopay)
Tax Engine Experience (Vertex Avalara OneSource Sovos) Configurations related to Tax Determination and Reporting
Build Indirect Tax requirements through interaction with client process teams Deep understanding of the Business Requirements in Indirect Tax Process Automation
Ability to take ownership of the Functional Design Strong Functional expertise and Deep problem solving skills to assist with ideal future state solution for our clients.
Perform Testing in ERP system and Tax Engines Ability to identify root cause related to calculation issues in Oracle or SAP
Ability to create these documentations: Business Requirements Documents Functional Designs ConfigurationsTest Scenarios and Training Guides
Client Management: Manage the daytoday interactions with executive clients and sponsors.
Delivery: Manage and deliver components of SAP or indirect tax engine client engagements and teams.
Solutions: Identify design and implement technology and innovative solutions to address tax needs.
Cross Functional Teaming: Understand and articulate the broader TMC practice and Deloitte overall. Maintain relationships and serve clients holistically.
People Development: Perform role of counselor and coach; participate in the staffing process and retention activities.
Business Development: Develop and maintain contacts organize and lead pursuit teams; contribute to business development.
Expertise on integration of FI module with MM and SD modules MM and SD pricing procedures
Preffered skills and Experience
Bachelors degree in accounting computer science or related field with 710 years of experience
SAP Oracle ONESOURCE Vertex CPA Enrolled Agent or other technology related certification (either in process or able/willing to obtain.
Experience working directly with clients.
