The successful candidate will be the business owner of multiple enterprise applications with a primary focus on laboratory software systems. The main responsibility will be handling LabVantage LIMS ELN ensuring its effective implementation and utilization across the organization.
In this role a typical day will include:
- Serving as the R&D business owner for multiple laboratory enterprise applications with a primary focus on LabVantage LIMS ELN
- Developing and managing project plans timelines and budgets for the implementation and enhancement of laboratory software systems.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for laboratory software systems.
- Providing leadership and guidance to project teams ensuring the successful completion of projects on time and within budget.
- Identifying and mitigating risks associated with the implementation and maintenance of laboratory software systems.
- Developing and delivering training programs for endusers to ensure effective utilization of LabVantage LIMS ELN and other laboratory software systems.
- Monitoring and evaluating the performance of laboratory software systems making recommendations for improvements as needed.
- Staying current with industry trends and advancements in laboratory software systems ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of technology.
What you will bring to Alcon:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school 15 yrs; Assoc.11 yrs; M.S.4 yrs; PhD 3 yrs.
- The ability to fluently read write understand and communicate in English
- 7 Years of Relevant Experience
- Experience with LabVantage LIMS ELN or similar laboratory systems.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
- Experience with other enterprise applications and their integration with laboratory software systems.
- Hands on laboratory experience
