Job Description
Overview
Staffing Pros a division of VETS Inc. is recruiting for a fulltime FSO/CPSO working primarily in the greater Northern Virginia area (NoVA/NCR). The selected candidate will oversee security management operations serving as a Facility Security Officer (FSO) Information Technology Personnel Security Officer (ITPSO) and Contract Program Security Officer (CPSO) ensuring compliance with all federal security requirements.
This position requires an Active Top Secret/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities
- Manage and implement security policies and procedures in accordance withNational Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and 32 CFR Part 117.
- Serve as theFSO / ITPSO / CPSO ensuring compliance with all security regulations and client requirements.
- Oversee security accounts withinDefense Information Security System (DISS) National Background Investigation Services (NBIS) and National Industrial Security System (NISS).
- ManageDD Form 254s process personnel security clearances and oversee classified contract security requirements.
- Conduct security briefings debriefings and training for personnel.
- Ensure compliance withDefense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) and Intelligence Community (IC) regulations.
- Develop and implementinsider threat programs cyber awareness initiatives and personally identifiable information (PII) protection.
- Conduct security audits inspections and risk assessments.
- Collaborate with government agencies and clients on securityrelated matters.
- Ensure timely reporting and resolution of security incidents.
Qualifications
- Active U.S. Top Secret Clearance with SCI Access Eligibility(required).
- Minimum 5 yearsof experience as anFSOsupportingDCSA and other IC government agencies.
- Extensive knowledge ofDISS NBIS and NISS security systems.
- Bachelors degreeor equivalent experience.
- Completion ofFSO Curriculum for Possessing Facilities.
- Strong understanding of federal security lawsPresidential Directives Executive Orders Intelligence Community Directives (ICD) and 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM Rule).
- Proficiency inMicrosoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Reliable transportation for travel to client facilities in and around theNational Capital Region.
- Ability to effectively detect assess and resolve securityrelated matters in a timely manner.
Desired Qualifications:
- NCMS ISP Certification.
- Completion ofCenter for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE) STEPP training courses including:
- FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities
- Establishing an Insider Threat Program
- Insider Threat Awareness
- Personally Identifiable Information (PII) Training
- Cyber Awareness Training
- NISS External User Training
Location:
Northern Virginia with travel required to client facilities in and around theNational Capital Region.
