Responsibilities
- For complex transactions act as a liaison between CHS and customers to provide market analysis supply/demand reports economicanalysis.
- Analyze and determine complex trading strategies to optimize opportunities volume and profit while controlling risk.
- Apply understanding of various commodities accuracy of trading terms risk measurement profit and loss analysis and futures hedging.
- Coordinate with internal and external customers to grow CHSbusiness in a profitable manner manage risk reduce cost and determine thebest sourcing options.
- Coordinate with the buyers finance logistics and other regions to insure that the trade runs smoothly.
- Identify opportunities in which CHSfinancial strength can be used in strategic alliances investments acquisition opportunities with producers processors distributors to ensure a smooth and supply of commodities to assigned region.
- Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
- Oversee customer service including provide first point of contact with consumer/user resolve issues with accounting transportation shippers and buyers and maintain existing customer base.
- Provide variousmarket and economic analysis supply/demand reportsprice strategy development and guidance and risk management strategies.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key industry leaders strategic community partners and be involved with industry associations.
- Manage sales budget andexpenses forecast product supply anddemand by account.
- Prepare and conduct sales presentations negotiate contracts and proposals.
- Supply Chain Management: manage relationships with internal production and customers; assist with issues such as logistics quality assurance.
- Perform other responsibities as needed or assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (required)
- High School diploma or GED
- 4 years of experience in Supply Chain and Procurement and/or Commodities
- 4 years of experience in Trading

- Excellent analytical and decision making skills
- Ability to adpat to fast changing environment
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Bachelors degree preferred in Accounting Business Economics Finance Statistics or related field
