Administration Officer Community Development and Youth Services

About the Opportunity
This is an exciting new opportunity to join a diverse and dynamic Community Development and Youth Services Team. This role is responsible forproviding essential administrative support to the Community Development and Youth Services teams within Council. This includes delivering highquality administrative assistance ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities and maintaining a consistent standard of excellent customer service providing timely and accurate support for both internal and external stakeholders.
Tasks for this role include:
- Scheduling meetings preparing necessary materials including agendas and minutes
- Assist with various administrative tasks such as facility and hall bookings invoicing and processing purchase orders
- Assist with customer service calls relating to Coordinator responsibility areas including delegation of responses to routine community inquiries
- Actively participate in the development of information systems procedures and reporting which will enhance customer experience
This role is a permanent parttime opportunity. Remuneration begins at $69.2K to $72.5K (Band 4 pro rata plus superannuation.
About You
You will be a highly organised and experienced individual to join our team in an Administration role. The ideal candidate will bring extensive administration experience coupled with a strong background in customer service. You will possess a high level of computer proficiency and demonstrated knowledge of quality management systems ensuring efficiency and accuracy in all tasks.
Our successful candidate will have excellent time management skills which will enable you to prioritise effectively and manage competing deadlinesexcellent oral and written communication skills ensuring smooth interactions with staff stakeholders and the community.
A genuine interest in working within the local government sector is highly desirable.
