Position Description: The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for optimizing and improving manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency quality and costeffectiveness. This role involves collaborating with crossfunctional teams implementing lean principles and utilizing engineering expertise to enhance production capabilities. The Manufacturing Engineer plays a key role in driving continuous improvement and supporting the overall success of the manufacturing operation.
Duties/ Responsibilities: Process Improvement: Analyze workflows production processes and layouts to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements. Cost Reduction: Develop strategies to minimize waste reduce costs and enhance productivity. Quality Control: Implement and monitor quality control systems to maintain high standards. Data Analysis: Collect and interpret data to make informed decisions and support continuous improvement initiatives. Resource Allocation: Optimize the use of materials equipment and human resources. Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with safety standards and enhance workplace safety. Project Management: Lead and participate in crossfunctional teams for process improvement projects. Supply Chain Management: Optimize logistics inventory control and supply chain processes. Technology Integration: Implement automation new software and advanced manufacturing technologies. Communication: Collaborate with management engineers and staff to implement solutions and changes.
Required Skills/ Abilities: 2 years in Manufacturing Engineering role or similar experience Strong communication skills both verbally and written Demonstrated organizational and planning skills Ability to successfully work in a team atmosphere
Education & Experience: Bachelors degree in engineering with coursework in the manufacturing process
Work Environment: Primarily in manufacturing plants warehouses or office settings. May require occasional travel to multiple sites or suppliers.
Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. Ability to traverse office manufacturing facility and customer sites.
