Department Overview
Columbia Memorial Hospital (CMH) in partnership with the Knight Cardiovascular Institute at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) is looking for a fulltime experienced Cardiology Physician Associate or Nurse Practitioner to join our noninvasive cardiology outpatient clinic located in Astoria Oregon.
Our cardiology team provides comprehensive cardiology care throughout the region at our Astoria and Seaside clinic locations providing care for a wide range of cardiac issues. We offer a full range of heart health services and procedures and administer heart disease prevention programs including a comprehensive cardiac rehabilitation program. With support from excellent clinical staff you will have the opportunity to be actively involved with specialized programs focused on devices (pacemakers ICDs and remote monitoring) and anticoagulation.
Function/Duties of Position
- Ideal fourday weekly work schedule.
- Communitybased ambulatory practice with no call requirements.
- Mix of new and followup patients.
- Guaranteed base salary with annual quality incentives.

Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Physician Associate Nurse Practitioner training program.
- Ability to obtain Physician Associate or Nurse Practitioner license for the State of Oregon.
- DEA
- ACLS or BLS required through the American Heart Association.
- Must be successfully credentialed by the CMH Professional Staff.
- Preferably two or more years of clinical PA or NP experience.
