Job Title: Legal Assistant
Job Description/Duties:
Legal assistant to support AAGs in Trusts and Estates Section of Charities Bureau by opening mail; using NYMatters and Filenet to open new matters; create file folders for new matters; organize hard files in filing cabinets; scan Court Notices Wills Trusts Pleadings and Accountings into NYMatters and WPDAT; Complete file review tasks as requested by AAGs; correspond by email and telephone with staff of estate counsels office as requested by AAGs; Review print scan email and mail legal papers as requested by AAGs; close files in NYMatters; and other duties as requested by AAGs.
Preferred Education:
High school; Technical degree/Certificate Program; Bachelors Degree
