Construction Materials Tester

Temp to Perm

Brigstock Northamptonshire

Monday to Friday

12.50 per hour

Do you have a CSCS card and a full clean driving licence.

If so ACS are pleased to be working on behalf of a national company serving the construction industries covering Construction Rail Civil Engineering and much more.

We are looking to place a reliable person looking for a long term career in the industry to assist with the testing of the materials using a machine and then reporting that to the clients.

After 3 months the company can take you on full time and give you an opportunity to grow.

Responsibilities:

  • Using an industrial press you will be testing the tolerances of various construction materials both onsite and on the premises
  • Recording the tolerance levels into a spreadsheet
  • Convert the spreadsheet to a PDF and send to the client
  • Lifting swatches up to 8 KG to be pressed

Qualifications/Skills

  • Must be able to input data into an Excel spreadsheet
  • Good communication
  • An eye for accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer literate
