Our Internal Audit team plays a crucial role in strengthening our companys control environment and driving operational excellence across the organization. As an Internal Audit intern youll be directly involved in evaluating and improving our SOX compliance processes operational effectiveness and information systems through handson experience with fullcycle audit projects. Working alongside experienced audit professionals youll help identify risks test controls and recommend practical solutions that drive meaningful improvements across the business. Youll gain exposure to various departments and leaders while developing a deep understanding of how different business units operate and interact. Things Youll Do

• Support the of internal audit projects from planning through reporting including risk assessment control testing and documentation of findings to strengthen the companys control environment
• Assist in SOX compliance testing and documentation by evaluating key controls identifying gaps and recommending process improvements that enhance operational efficiency
• Analyze data using various tools and technologies to identify trends anomalies and potential risk areas contributing to more effective audit procedures and meaningful insights
• Collaborate with business partners across departments to gather information conduct interviews and document processes while building strong working relationships
• Create clear and concise audit documentation including process flowcharts and testing workpapers that support audit conclusions and recommendations
• Support special projects and investigations as needed including data analysis process mapping and control design evaluation to drive continuous improvement across the organization

What Were Looking For On Your Resume

• Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Accounting Information Systems Finance Business Administration or related field
• Strong academic performance with relevant coursework in accounting auditing or information systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with data analysis tools is preferred
• Previous internship or work experience demonstrating strong analytical and problemsolving skills is a plus
• Knowledge of or exposure to internal controls risk management concepts or business process analysis is beneficial
• Experience with visualization tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI) or programming languages (e.g. SQL Python) is a plus
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to work 20 hours per week during the internship period with the potential to work up to 30 hours per week in the summer (June August)
