About the Role
As part of our global expansion we are seeking an experienced Business Development Executive / Manager to join our growing team. This pivotal role is focused on driving revenue growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities in emerging markets and customer sectors. You will leverage ABMs existing portfolio of products and services to expand our reach and customer base. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in business development an understanding of the life sciences or biotechnology sector and the ability to build lasting relationships with potential clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify prospect and generate new business opportunities in emerging markets and customer sectors.
- Develop and execute strategies to drive growth and expand ABMs footprint across various industries.
- Promote abms portfolio of products and services to new customers ensuring value propositions are aligned with customer needs.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decisionmakers stakeholders and potential clients to cultivate longterm partnerships.
- Collaborate with the marketing sales and product development teams to align efforts and ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Deliver presentations and proposals to potential clients and negotiating contracts and agreements to secure new business opportunities.
- Monitor industry trends competitor activities and market dynamics to develop business development strategies.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs related to new business acquisition.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Life Sciences Biotechnology or a related field (Masters degree is a plus).
- Proven experience in business development sales or a related role within the life sciences or biotechnology sector.
- Strong knowledge of the biotechnology or life sciences industry including an understanding of products services and market dynamics.
- Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and securing new business from diverse markets and customer sectors.
- Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Selfmotivated proactive and resultsoriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to identify key market trends and opportunities.
- Experience with CRM tools and sales tracking software.

Work Location
- This is an onsite position at our headquarters in Richmond BC.
- Candidates must be available to work onsite from the start date. No relocation allowance provided.
