Basic Function

At the intersection of these pillars the Data & Analytics Center of Excellence is building the data foundation and a catalog of data products analytical applications and enterprise services that give users across our company the tools data and guidance to generate insights.
The Data Product Lead will be responsible for leading implementing and maintaining the realtime data acquisition and collection of OT (operational technology) data from LYB manufacturing plant sites in a secured reliable and optimal manner. The lead will be responsible for the OT Data Product line addressing standard data governance and data management to implement the roadmap.
Roles & Responsibilities
Collaborate and drive the technical vision and delivery for Data APIs at enterprise scale to establish an interoperable data driven integration for Analytics usage.
Engage with multiple teams both inside and outside the Data & Analytics CoE such as the product teams Enterprise Architecture team etc. to work on the solution and leading the end to end real time OT data acquisition and management.
Detail out and refine higherlevel architecture decisions into a lowerlevel executional design working with the technical and security architects.
Establish the data access layer for a reliable and sustainable enterprise solution that enables high value impact use cases.
Build strong collaborative relationships with our partner organizations helping to align our technical efforts with external needs.
Work with vendor solutions to implement
Responsible for the complete implementation of detailed technical items and an understanding of systemlevel items provided by the vendor and work with them to enable future roadmap software features as needed by LYB
Clearly and crisply communicate architectural decisions plans and standards for the products we create and support.
Proactively support and Implement processes for application database code deployment and synchronization across environments.
Lead technical team members to deliver and support all features of the data api ecosystem.
Lead the build out of reliable and end to end data monitoring and Data quality products.
Report on metrics associated with the services and programs and in relation to the quarterly and annual objectives.
Coordinate and effectively communicate across internal and external teams inclusive on progress status roadblocks and mitigation plans.
Own and maintain the product back log and lead to using Agile methodology.
Min. Qualifications
To excel in this role you will need:
- A proven track record of building responsive user interfaces using modern frontend technologies.
- Solid expertise in frontend technologies such as HTML Javascript JQuery and CSS.
- Experience working with Historians like Aspen tech IP21 OSI PI Honeywell Bentley Nevada.
- Familiarity with Control disciplines including Historians DCS PLC SCADA.
- Handson experience with DevOps on cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of realtime ingestion technologies such as Kafka Confluent and Message queues.
- Proficiency in IoT eventdriven architecture microservices and cloud containerization.
- Certifications in cloud data products like Azure or similar services.
- Understanding of statistical and mathematical techniques for business problemsolving.
- Functional expertise in the manufacturing business domain.
- Experience in a global enterprise environment or leading consulting firms is desirable.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred qualifications for the role include:
- Advanced certifications in cloud services or data management.
- Experience in AI/ML applications within industrial settings.
- Familiarity with advanced analytics tools and techniques.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles in data management.
- Experience in scaling data solutions for global organizations.
- Ability to lead innovation and drive change in a fastpaced technological landscape.
