CDL Driver Local to Zelienople/Pittsburg PA area
The Class A CommercialDriver is responsible for moving oil field fleet equipment safely between locations. This is a home daily position but requiressubstantialtravel on a scheduled basiswith oncall expectations.
Skills & Abilities
Education: High School Diploma GED or equivalent Experience: 1 3 years verifiable work experience with heavy equipment and/or over the road vehicles along with basic mechanical abilities to work in shop area and location as needed. Heavy haul and previous oilfield experience a plus. Other Requirements: Must have a valid drivers license meet minimum driving standards for company insurance purposes and successfully pass a preemployment background check drug screen and DOT physical.
Duties
Must maintain a valid CDLA license with a good record and no major violations. Drive company equipment as needed including hot shots as required. Complete tasks in the shop areas as requested by management. Perform complete pre and posttrip inspections of all equipment to reduce/eliminate breakdowns. Must be able to operate safely within high traffic/congested areas as well as very rural areas. Complete log book and other paperwork meeting all DOT and company record keeping requirements. Adhere to published CDL driver schedule and effectively communicate changes requests for time off etc. to immediate supervisor. Follow all company safety policies guidelines and initiatives at all times. Other project as assigned by management.
