Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Civil Foreman to oversee and coordinate civil construction activities onsite. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading field crews ensuring safety compliance and maintaining project schedules while delivering highquality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and direct civil construction crews in site preparation grading utilities foundations and roadwork.
  • Ensure work is completed according to project specifications schedules and safety standards.
  • Coordinate daily tasks with the Superintendent Project Manager and subcontractors.
  • Monitor workforce productivity material usage and equipment operations.
  • Enforce safety policies and procedures conducting site inspections and toolbox talks.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation including progress reports and timesheets.
  • Assist in problemsolving and troubleshooting construction challenges onsite.
  • Ensure adherence to all OSHA and company safety regulations.
  • Train and mentor crew members to enhance performance and skill development.
  • Communicate effectively with team members subcontractors and stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Civil Foreman or similar role in civil construction.
  • Strong knowledge of site development earthwork drainage and concrete structures.
  • Ability to read blueprints plans and technical drawings.
  • Excellent leadership organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards and regulations.
  • Valid drivers license and ability to travel as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working on largescale infrastructure or heavy civil projects.
  • Certifications such as OSHA 30 First Aid/CPR or equipment operation training are a plus.
