Job Description

Job Title: Application Support Engineer

Job Location: Client Location

Work Schedule: 24x7 Shift Environment (Rotational Shifts)

6 Days Working

Rotational Weekly Off

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Application Support Engineer to provide technical support at the client location in a 24x7 environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting issue resolution and ensuring application stability. They should possess strong problemsolving skills customerhandling experience and the ability to work in a dynamic support environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide L1/L2 application support to resolve issues and ensure system stability.

Monitor application performance and resolve system incidents as per defined SLAs.

Handle customer queries efficiently and provide timely resolutions.

Escalate complex issues to higher support levels and follow up for resolution.

Work closely with internal teams and vendors to ensure application uptime.

Document issues solutions and best practices for knowledge sharing.

Perform basic troubleshooting related to database servers and application configurations.

Ensure compliance with IT policies and security guidelines.

Participate in shift rotations including night shifts and weekends as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Experience: 13 years in Application Support or a similar role.

Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of databases (MySQL SQL Server) Linux/Windows OS networking fundamentals and API troubleshooting.

Customer Handling: Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and stakeholders.

ProblemSolving: Ability to analyze and resolve technical issues quickly.

Documentation: Experience in maintaining logs issue reports and resolution documents.

Flexibility: Willingness to work in a 24x7 support environment with rotating shifts.

Preferred Qualifications:

Basic knowledge of ticketing tools.

Expertise in server monitoring.

Graduate or Masters degree in technologyrelated fields.
