Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a Technical Specialist Lab to work in the Miami VA System Miami Florida.
Position Highlights:
- Weekend Holiday Evening and Night Hour Shifts
- 12 hour shifts

Job Summary:
The Technical Specialist provides expertise in laboratory procedures troubleshooting equipment issues and ensuring compliance with technical standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a technical resource for lab staff.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in laboratory testing.
- Develop and refine laboratory protocols.
- Train staff on specialized laboratory techniques.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Job Requirements:
- Graduation from a medical laboratory technician training program accredited by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS) or the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES).
- Certification as a Medical Lab tech by the American Society of Clinical Pathologist (ASCP) or American Medical Technologist (AMT) or state licensure as a medical lab tech
- BLS
- Current immunization record
