The Activities Coordinator will also be responsible for managing and overseeing a number of administrative functions for the department including relevant documentation to medical records. Additionally the Activities Coordinator will be expected to participate in ongoing professional development and training to ensure full compliance with industrywide protocol as well as to keep Senior LIFEs activities program highly competitive in the marketplace.
Candidates should have a minimum of two years experience in a social or recreational role that specifically centers on the elderly community. Strong communication skills as well as an ability to thrive and inspire in a teambased setting are key to this role. An ability to organize prioritize and effectively implement new practices and procedures and a desire to effect positive change within an underserved community are also essential characters Senior LIFE looks for in this role.
Since some travel tomembers homes is required a valid drivers license and reliable mode of transportation is also mandatory.
