Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES include but are not limited to the following:

  • Oversee the hiring process; full cycle recruitment and retention. Collaborate and partner with department managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Conduct or coordinate preemployment checks; drug screening background checks aptitude tests and other required eligibility verifications.
  • Responsible for onboarding new hire orientation and training.
  • Assist in implementing managing and maintaining the HRIS and ATS systems.
  • Respond to unemployment claims and research/prepare for DOL hearings.
  • Review and approve all lowerlevel Corrective Action Plans before they are administered to employees.
  • Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings terminations and investigations.
  • Process termination/resignations including exit interviews and offboarding steps.
  • Benefits/insurance administration including short and longterm disability and FMLA.
  • Assist with the employee bonus and annual performance review tracking.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal and state statutes regarding HR functions.
  • Respond to and resolve difficult and sensitive inquiries and complaints.
  • Work closely with the HR Director on implementing employee recognition programs and employee engagement activities.
  • Responsible for updating the HR related tabs on the employee intranet.
  • Reviews tracks and documents compliance with mandatory and nonmandatory training continuing education and work assessments. This may include safety training antiharassment training professional licensure and aptitude exams and certifications.
  • Manage and track employee transfers and promotions ensuring compliance with SOC1 URAC and other auditing entities.
  • Maintains compliance with federal state and local employment laws and regulations and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends best practices regulatory changes and new technologies in human resources talent management and employment law.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • College Degree or equivalent experience 4 years).
  • 3 years of progressive human resources generalist experience.
  • HR certification or pursuit of certification preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficiency with the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and ATS.
  • Organized attention to detail multitask and the ability to prioritize workload.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to act with integrity professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Professional demeanor and good rapport with employees at all job levels
