Job Description
Exceptional opportunity for a Senior Tax Accountant with a minimum of 5 years of experience in business tax and individual tax matters. In this role prior experience with midregional firms specializing in small business tax and business development is essential. Effective communication with clients is a significant aspect of this position as you will be actively involved in managing clients financials and tax responsibilities. Furthermore a strong grasp of current tax law is a prerequisite. While we value team collaboration and local interactions we also offer the flexibility of a workfromhome policy. Additionally outside of the busy season a fourday workweek is in place.
Responsibilities:
- Minimum 5 years of recent work experience with a public accounting firm
- High level knowledge of tax accounting and tax law is expected
- Ability to adapt to different software tools for project management and workflow
- Solid organizational skills with demonstrated ability to multitask
- Ability to work in a paperless office with advanced skills in Microsoft Office
- Ability to work overtime as required throughout the year
- Ability to actively maintain client relationships and provide timely service
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills
- Dedication to teamwork and leadership
- Auditing experience or desire to handle audit engagements is a plus
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree (Desired)
- Tax accounting: 5 years (Required)
- CPA (Desired)
