SCHEDULE:
JOB DUTIES:
- Lead inspections troubleshooting and repairs
- Ability to read analyze and interpret technical procedures maintenance manuals blueprints electrical schematics company policies and Federal Aviation Regulations
- Ability to perform maintenance on ground support equipment as needed
- Ability to work outdoors and in weather as necessary
- Ability to lead and perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- FAA mechanics certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings
- Minimum 7years experience on heavy aircraft. (line maintenance preferred)
- Possesses strong troubleshooting skills to efficiently return aircraft back to service
- Able to obtain 737300 run and taxi authorization within 90days from start date
- Ability to tow aircraft within 90 days of hire
- Able to communicate effectively with strong leadership skills. Good interpersonal relationships
- Ability to work various shifts overtime and/or afterhour call outs will be occasionally required
- Able to travel to recover aircraft as required
- Able to take after hours calls from flight mechanics to resolve MX issues
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. climb ladders and maneuver around aircraft
- Passport and/or ability to obtain passport within 60 days of hire
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Valid drivers license
- Successful completion of preemployment DOT drug screening and other required background checks
- Ability to obtain an airport SIDA badge
