Description of Position(s):
As a Pharmacy Technician at AmeriPharma we have various positions available ranging from customer service data entry billing and traditional pharmacy technician duties. Placement options will be discussed during an inperson interview.
Schedule Details
- InPerson (Laguna Hills CA)
- 8 hour shift/40 hours a week within hours of operations: Monday Friday 6:00am6:00pm Saturdays 7:30am4:00pm
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications.
- Accurately process and fill prescriptions efficiently.
- Verify prescription information and dosage.
- Manage inventory including restocking and ordering supplies.
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Provide excellent service to patients ensuring their needs are met in a timely manner.
- Maintain patient records and uphold confidentiality standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and pharmacy operations.
- Clean and help maintain equipment and work areas.
- Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPAA.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Clear Pharmacy Technician License
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Basic math and analytical skills
- Must be able to work in a fastpaced environment and meet deadlines
- Ability to perform task accurately and efficiently
- Reliable and dependable
- Positive and optimistic
- Attentive and detailed
- Must have open availability and willing to work weekends
Preferred Experience:
- 2 years experience working in a Pharmacy (entry level candidates welcome)
