Job Description
The Tate Branch Autoplex in Carlsbad NM is looking for Diesel Service Technicians to join our High Volume Service Department.
The Diesel Service Technician at Tate Branch Auto Group will be responsible for providing service and maintenance to dieselpowered vehicles. They will inspect diagnose and repair trucks buses and other dieselpowered vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:
- Diagnose repair and maintain dieselpowered vehicles using appropriate test equipment and tools
- Road test all vehicles to ensure they are operating safely and correctly
- Perform preventive maintenance on diesel vehicles according to the manufacturers specifications
- Deliver excellent customer service by answering customer questions and providing timely and accurate maintenance information
- Maintain a clean and orderly work station
Requirements:
- Valid NDM/CDL is preferred
- 2 years of diesel service technician or related experience
- Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for 8 hours
- Basic computer and electronic skills
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adhere to safety regulations
- Flexibility to work nights and weekends
