Job Description
General Surgery and Vascular Surgery Physician Assistant opportunity near Ft. Myers Florida.Great opportunity to balance OR time and office time.Physician Assistants rotate schedule weekly so each week is different and nice balance of OR/Hospital time and office follow ups.Experienced surgical PA would be strong candidate.Recent graduate with focused Surgical Training during clinical year will be considered.Must be Procedure focused.
About the Vascular Surgery Physician Assistant opportunity
- Hospital Rounds Consults Daily OR cases
- 500 Bed Hospital and Ambulatory Surgical Center within 5 minutes of office
- Carotid artery disease aneurysm vascular access rental artery stenosis Peripheral Artery Disease
- Rotating schedule with PA team 3 weeks are Hospital based and 1 week is Office based each month
- Staggered start to Hospital weeks 7a3p 8a4p 10a6p in rotation
- No call in evening
- Weekend rounds (quick) Saturday and Sunday am every 4th weekend
- Incredible Medical Assistant team in office
- Procedure (Access) in office using Angiogram during office week
Requirements of the Vascular Surgery Physician Assistant opportunity
- Completed Masters from Graduate PA Program
- NCCPA certification
- Florida State Medical License
- Demonstrated Surgical interest during training or prior to PA school
- Thrive in busy schedule both office and hospital are high acuity and zero breaks
- Interest in Vascular subspecialty and more complex medical patients
- CT and Ultrasound experience a plus

- Salary starts at $10700 PA with surgical experience open negotiation
- Weekend one day rounding coverage one weekend each month
- Flexible schedule weekly start at 789 am
