Primary Responsibilities:
- Operate powered equipment to move products throughout the warehouse safely and efficiently once certified.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on the forklift and report any issues or malfunctions to the supervisor.
- Pick and pack bulk and dropship inventory for shipment according to customer order; stages inventory for shipment; loads trailers.
- Unload trailers; receives product verifying accuracy against PO and packing slip in WMS.
- Receives returned product; verifies warranty status; updates WMS; prepares product for disposal or return to stock.
- Trains other employees; maintains a clean and safe workspace; other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent preferred.
- Proficient oral and written communication skills.
- Previous forklift experience preferred.
Basic Expectations:
- Ability to follow work instructions.
- Safely operate a power industrial truck and/or aerial work platform
- Maintain a valid power industrial truck license.
- Ability to learn and understand the manufacturing process.
- Adhere with all company policies procedures and trainings.
- Maintains a safe clean work environment; address any unsafe conditions or behaviors with a supervisor.
- Completes all required records reports and forms in a neat accurate and timely fashion.
- Seeks to always improve materials processes product quality and worker safety.
