What will you be doing
The successful candidate will join the EMEA & APAC Media & Analytics Solutions Delivery team whose core objective is to support primarily FMCG (occasionally General Merchandise) manufacturer and retailers with their growth plans by analyzing the impact of their instore sales and marketing activity and identifying opportunities to improve performance. Recommendations are made on our clients assortment media price and promotional strategies. This is achieved via insightful machine analytics based on EPOS data.
As a Media & Analytics Insights Consultant you will work with a team of consultants across in German as well as EMEA team to support contracted and ad hoc services to Circanas Media & Analytics clients. Your role will be to manage the delivery of Media & Analytics projects from sign off through the delivery of insights working closely with both the client and your colleagues in Circanas EMEA&APAC Media & Analytics Solutions Delivery team.
Job Responsibilities
Project management
Leverage data and analysis to make concise and compelling recommendations to clients
Effectively manage the relationship with the client and its suppliers (eg. Media agency) to ensure all required data is collected and validated
Be the key liaison between Circanas data scientists (based in Athens Greece) insights Analysts and commercials to facilitate the delivery process and insights quality
Ensure quality of the project through building project scope performing quality checks tracking timelines challenging results
Ensure the adequacy of the study set up and results with client expectations (as described by the SoW)
o Interpret clients business questions into project specifications understanding project objectives and deliverables for Circanas analytics solutions
Prepare impactful and relevant presentation materials (PowerPoint Excel potentially UnifyCircana online visualization platform) and potentially present them to the client during the project rationalize intermediate outcomes and provide feedback and guidance to Circanas analysts and data scientists
Insights and Consulting
Aligning with Circanas commercial team and make rational build insights and prepare client presentations on the results of the machine learning data analysis
In coordination with Circanas commercial team lead develop and deliver concise communications and presentations Lead client workshops in delivering and interpreting the results to the client
Link industry trends and generate new perspectives ideas or innovations that allow problems to be solved to deliver client actionable insights accelerating clients growth
Build and maintain both support and trust with the client; act as a trusted advisor and delivery partner
Requirements
Interest in or understanding of marketing strategy and/or FMCG business/market trends
Previous relevant experience preferably with data analysis (insight) or data management background marketing mix insight delivery a big advantage
Understanding of Media channels and how advertising works
Applicants do not need to have a statistical background to apply but must have strong analytical skills with an aptitude for accurately managing and interpreting data and proficient in MS Office
Preferably experience of working with Circana Market Advantage or similar bigdata platforms
Knowledge of types of analytical principles such as A/B Testing MultiTouch attribution and Marketing Mix
Strong analytical insightful and strategic thinking skills
Ability to interpret data and develop strong story telling narratives
Excellent presentation skills with the ability to make complex data simple to understand.
Good planning and organizational skills able to manage multiple projects and local and offshore resources
Positive and enthusiastic attitude with aptitude to learn
Selfmotivated accountable and committed with good decision making and project management skills
Ability to work in a fast paced environment managing multiple projects and stakeholders
Articulate able to proactively identify and communicate issues taking ownership for resolution and/or escalating as appropriate
