Job Description
Your Role in Precision Manufacturing
As a crucial member of our team the Precision Grinding Specialist is responsible for overseeing shift activities in our grinding room. You will expertly manage grinders forklifts and department equipment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Skillfully operate hand and pedestal grinders to safely remove excess material conducting regular inspections for optimal grinder adjustments.
- Distinguish between material grades preventing crosscontamination of regrind.
- Accurately label and identify regrind boxes.
- Maintain thorough endofshift documentation including crew machine and production data.
- Evaluate product quality making necessary machine adjustments for defectfree production.
- Efficiently handle materials with appropriate equipment including forklifts and barcode readers.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot operational issues effectively.
- Conduct minor maintenance on grinders such as wheel replacement.
- Uphold strict housekeeping and safety protocols.
What You Bring:
- 1year experience in a dynamic production environment with mechanical insight into industrial systems.
- Completion of forklift certification program.
- 2 years in forklift/clamp truck operations within busy logistics settings preferred.
- Demonstrated problemsolving ability and excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Ability to perform effectively in a highspeed environment standing for 12hour shifts.
