Job Summary:
Trihydro Corporation is seeking a senior civil engineer to join its Phoenix AZ office. The role is within our Mining Services Business Unit and supports clients across many industries by delivering effective responsive and safe solutions. You will be responsible for tasks such as performing and help managing design evaluations/calculations drafting figures preparing plan sets modeling preparing technical memorandums and reports preparing project specifications developing cost estimates preparing permit applications and project management and construction oversight. You may also conduct field data collection perform site inspections and inventories and perform construction observations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Projects meet with clients regularly on and offsite; prepare weekly status reports for tracking scope/schedule/budget; prepare proposals and change orders; coordinate contracts purchase orders and service orders; review and approve invoices; manage various subconsultants; conduct internal project forecasting and budget tracking.
• Manage Technical Design Work delegate review and approve technical engineering work including design calculations design evaluations drawings and specifications. Oversee development of technical design reports technical memorandums asbuilt reports project completion reports handover binders agency submittals bid documents etc.
• Manage Staff manage and mentor various staff professionals including engineers scientists technicians and drafters. Perform staff meetings conduct performance reviews and recommend staff raises/bonuses.

Qualifications:

• You have 15 years of relevant engineering design experience such as designing civil infrastructure water and/or wastewater systems earthwork grading stormwater drainage rural and urban roads water resources pumping/piping projects site development projects with mine site infrastructure and reclamation related projects considered a plus.
• You have experience in project and client management.
• You are a licensed professional engineer (P.E. or can obtain licensure in Arizona within 6 months.
