Job Summary:

TheProjectProcurementManager hasresponsibilityforcoordinatingandperformingthesupply side ofproject management activities related to high value customer projects. Focus on T2 and T3 projects; the objectives are to improve the COST QUALITY DELIVERY SPEED and CASH resultsforthemanufacturingplants and forthefulfillmentcenterslocatedin ISV global locations. The Project Procurement Manager works crossfunctionally with PSQ (SBU) and Project Management Order management Category managers PSQ Production & Inventory Controls IPM and Operations at each stage of the projects from quotation to award the orders through themanufactureto the deliverytocustomer.

In this Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  1. Set and reinforce standards for a safe work environment.
  2. Actively participate to bid review meetings crossfunctional kick off managed by Project Managers and follow up of Customer Projects.
  3. Engage and Track customer projects as managed by Project Management Organization during pursuit phase:
    1. identify major key component
    2. determine desired process
    3. apply supply chain tools and processes to enhance leverage
    4. support customer project objectives and timeline
    5. Partner with Project Managers to ensure comprehensive plans and secure on time delivery of project orders by following the standard Project Procurement Process and Templates.
    6. Process the Change Order Management with the Project Managers by identifying with the suppliers the cost of the changes and the impact on the lead time. Deploy deviations with vendors only after getting the customer approval regarding cost and lead time.
  4. Working with P&IC Category Teams and Key suppliers to achieve margin uplift during pursuit phase and recording/reporting the actual in ProTrack during phase.
  5. Work with the Logistics Teams to tension the Logistics Cost on the customer delivery side (from Emerson Site to Customer site).
  6. Making sure the supplier capacity meets the expectation & the price meet the budget during biding phase.

Making sure the ontime delivery for key components from key suppliers (Casting Actuators etc.

For This Role You Will Need:
  • Qualification in Operations Supply Chain Engineering Technical or Business; MBA preferred.
  • FluentinEnglish.
  • ProjectManagementCertificationpreferred.
  • Experiencewithesourcing(ARIBA)
  • Strongcapabilityin planningandanalyticsstructuredproblemsolvingfacilitatingandpresentationskills.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
  • Engineering graduate with 12 years of relevant experience.
  • Persuasivecommunicationinfluencing&negotiationskills(internallyandexternally).
  • Knowledgeofendtoendsupplychainmanagementglobalsourcingandlogisticsoptimizationinitiatives.
