Alfred Health is a leader in health care delivery improvement research and education. We are the main provider of health services to people living in the inner southeast suburbs of Melbourne from ambulatory to inpatient and home and communitybased services.
Applications are invited for a Fractional Specialist to work in the Department of Anaesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at Alfred Health working 18 hours 2 days) per week.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Applicants must be legally qualified practitioners registered or registrable with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and hold Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists.
- Demonstrate relevant contemporary knowledge and experience in Anaesthesia
- Meet Alfred Health requirements for credentialing and scope of practice in Anaesthesia
- Current experience independently leading the clinical anaesthetic and immediate perioperative care of major trauma and burns patients
- Appropriate experience and skills to be able to provide anaesthetic services at Sandringham Hospital
- At least one year of experience working at consultant level in a major tertiary referral level institution
Successful applicants will be expected to work in a variety of clinical situations and across multiple campuses of Alfred Health including The Alfred and Sandringham Hospital.
