London and Amsterdam.
We are building the future of bank payments focusing on both building the money movement mechanics directly as well as enabling partners to offer solutions. We have large number of customers already using our solutions both direct and via partners and are looking to further scale up our product offerings and total volume that we can support. We operate solutions across all of the major bank payment rails in the US and are planning to continue leading the industry by enabling the latest innovations in realtime payments. We build across the fullstack including data pipelines backend systems APIs and customerfacing frontend experiences.
You will manage a team of engineers who work on building and maintaining the Transfer and Partnerships product suite and underlying systems. Youll collaborate with your product counterparts to define the strategy and vision for both areas and turn that into concrete roadmaps for the team. Youll design and build APIs and Dashboard experiences that are available to thousands of Plaid customers. Youll partner closely with the engineering team on the technical planning and including maintaining high reliability systems (think many 9s) that perform up to customer expectations for money movement flows.
Responsibilities
- Set and maintain a high bar for quality and velocity for your team leading by example and getting in the weeds of what your team is building
- Set and hit ambitious goals that represent delivering value to our customers and building robust foundations
- Hire mentor and grow engineers across a range of seniority levels
- Run team process including micro and macroexecution and collaboration across functions & teams
Qualifications
- 2 years of engineering management experience with significant experience as a software engineer
- Experience owning a production product and working with a product manager and/or business partners to drive business impact
- Deep experience with fullstack architecture and systems
- Track record of building and growing high performing engineering teams
$214800 $366000 a year
Target base salary for this role is between $214800 and $366000 per year. Additional compensation in the form(s) of equity and/or commission are dependent on the position offered. Plaid provides a comprehensive benefit plan including medical dental vision and 401(k). Pay is based on factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position candidates work experience and skillset and location. Pay and benefits are subject to change at any time consistent with the terms of any applicable compensation or benefit plans.
