Job Description
About Compass
Compass is Alexandria Community Educations schoolage care program providing before and afterschool nonschool day and summer care for students PreK5th Grade.
The Summer Compass program is held at Woodland Elementary School and the Early Education Center where students and staff:
- Embark on exciting field trips across Minnesota.
- Enjoy the Shenanigans indoor playground.
- Participate in engaging activities like 4H gardening gym time and structured activities.
- Spend plenty of time outside for fun and exploration!
Perfect for: Those with flexible schedules who want to work parttime or sporadically.
Qualifications:
- Group Leader: Must be 18 with childcare experience.
- Group Assistant: Must be 16.
Essential Functions:
- Step in to support the program as needed.
- Adapt to changes while supervising and participating in daily activities.
Schedule:
- The program runs June 2August 22 2025 (Closed June 19 & July 4.
- Flexible Hours: Work when it fits your schedule!
- Shifts: 7:0012:00 12:005:30 or full 8hour days.
Pay:
- $17.34/hour for Group Leaders.
- $14/hour for Group Assistants.
Perks: Bonus for subs who work 15 shifts!
