HID is looking for a Strategy & M&A Manager to join the Identification Technologies (IDT) Business Area (BA). As the Strategy & M&A Manager you will play a pivotal role in the formulation and of IDTs business strategy. You will have direct access to the BAs executive decisionmakers and collaborate closely with the IDT management team to support on highpriority strategy and M&A projects from ideation to .
In this highly visible role you will work closely together with the Strategy & M&A team at IDT and report to the Senior Manager Strategy & M&A (separate recruitment process ongoing for this role). The location for the position is in Stockholm Sweden and includes occasional traveling.

Within HID you will find Identification Technologies or IDT which is a fastgrowing Business Area providing a broad portfolio of contactless identification technologies (RFID / NFC BLE UWB etc. across various industries such as Manufacturing Logistics & Supply chain Healthcare and Access Control. More specifically IDT offers smart credentials (RFID tags & cards) RFID readers services & software to securely identify track and manage assets and identities. IDT has experienced significant growth in the last 5 years both organically and through M&A with 13 acquisitions done since 2019 and is considered one of HIDs growth engines.
As IDTs Manager Strategy & M&A you will support our continued success by:
- Driving strategic projects and initiatives from ideation to .
- Developing IDTs overall strategy as well as providing strategic support to IDTs 10 business units (BUs) around the world.
- Supporting on running M&A projects ranging from target scanning to commercial due diligence and integration of acquired companies.
- Delivering extensive market and competitive analyses to drive business insights and support decisionmaking.
- Supporting the development of strategy & M&A presentations to ASSA ABLOY Group and HID Management.

YourExperienceand Education include:
- Bachelors Degree in Business Economics or Engineering. Masters Degree valued.
- 23 years of relevant professional experience from toptier management consulting strategy/business development line role investment banking or similar.
- High proficiency with Microsoft products especially Microsoft Office (Outlook Excel Word and PowerPoint).
- Ability to travel internationally when needed.
- Fluent in English both written and spoken.
