Job Description
Albemarle is seeking aInstrument / Electrical Engineer. The position is located in Magnolia Arkansas working on the Magnolia E&I Maintenance Team.
Instrument Excellence Responsibilities:
Instrument system improvement projects
P&ID development/revisions Control strategy Estimating Schedule coordination
Liaison with vendors contractor engineers and maintenance
Instrument specification and selection (level pressure temperature flow PSV & PSD etc)
Construction Package Design including location plans termination drawings installation details scope definition I/O lists Instrument lists.
In depth knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
Electrical Design Responsibilities:
Utility analysis scope development estimating.
Liaison with vendors contractor engineers and maintenance
Electrical specification and selection (Lighting MCC Capacitor VFD etc.
Electrical design startup and troubleshooting (Lighting MCC Danfoss and Allen Bradley VFD Motor controls Area classification analysis)
Knowledge of OSHA NFPA 70E NEC etc.
Project Construction & Startup Responsibilities:
Act as liaison with the sites construction coordinator assisting with installation problems.
Loop checking equipment setup program downloading megger testing loop tuning troubleshooting and assisting with startup.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent people skills Customer focused.
Ability to successfully work with all plant personnel
Project Management Responsibilities:
Scope development project estimation project paper development cost control and reporting
Procurement: project scheduling change order review/control/
Developing and writing applicable specifications.
Experience with SAP Project Module and other basic SAP transactions very desirable.
EssentialQualifications:
Candidate will possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
3 years experience as an Electrical Engineer providing E&I design and support.

Employees are required to follow and support the requirements of our quality management system which is available on the ISO Sync site and can be accessed through Albert by all site workers.
