Please note: this role is remote but must be based in Spain.
Compensation & Perks
- The salary range of this role is EUR 40000 EUR 55000 per annum depending on experience.

About the role
We are looking for a seasoned productaware software engineer to help us on our mission to reinvent the future of credit. We are searching for engineers who place the customer at the center of everything specifically looking at our services design and quality.
We are looking for someone excited about working on products in their very early stage a selfstarter with the ability to take on a range of challenging and intriguing challenges. The project has an enormous impact on the future of Tymits platform and has a wide scope all the way from designing a scalable services platform to rearchitecting the data models in our code base. You will be involved in leveraging new applications as much as taking an important role during design review sessions. We need our engineers to be versatile display leadership qualities and be enthusiastic to take on new problems across the full stack as we continue to push technology forward.

Software Engineers at Tymit work by squads in crossfunctional teams applying good practices and agile methodologies.
During your time at Tymit you will
- Take part in building an effective collaboration in all areas and levels of the business and engineering team.
- Participate in development life cycle activities such as design coding testing and production release delivering highquality code in an agile team environment.
- Improve integration efficiency and data modelling with thirdparty vendors.
- Troubleshoot critical production issues and provide technical insights.
- Work with the wider engineering team to enhance document and establish processes and generally improve the operability and security of our systems.
- Champion new technologies and enforce the best development patterns and practices and promote these to the wider team.
In 1 month you will...
- Know and understand the microservices architecture handled by the squad.
- Help with small bug fixes.
- Achieve good communication with the rest of the team.
- Get a generic vision of Tymit architecture.
- Understand the main concepts of our business.
- Have the app installed and understand how it works.
In 3 months you will...
- Know and understand several parts of Tymit architecture.
- Develop features with low or mid complexity.
- Have good communication and collaboration with product.
- Product ownership (help with user stories analysis e2e testing etc.
In 6 months you will...
- Develop features with mid or high complexity.

Tymit tech team: we work with technologies such as Kotlin SwiftUI Swift NodeJS React Python Docker ECS Terraform Ansible and many more!

What you will bring along
- 13 years of experience in programming languages such as Java Kotlin Groovy and frameworks like Quarkus and/or Spring Boot.
- Experience designing scalable RESTful Web Services and Reactive Microservices.
- Comfortable participating in building processes culture and organizations to help deliver and support largescale production systems.
- Ability to think holistically and also maintain focus on small intricate details is essential for the highimpact role you will play at Tymit.

Stage 1
45 min. videocall with our Tymits People team. Understand your career plan and what motivates you about Tymit.
Stage 2
30 min. videocall with one of our Backend Engineers. Brief technical discussion to understand more about the role and your skills.
Stage 3
90 min. videocall with two of our Backend Engineers. Set up your development environment ahead of the interview and be ready to develop some quick code on a call with two of our backend engineers. Technical discussion to better understand your skills and give you a sneak peek of what it could be working at Tymit.
Stage 4
60 min. videocall with two members of our Engineering team. In this session we will discuss a system design challenge related to backend architecture. The goal is to explore how you approach designing scalable and efficient systems considering various technical constraints and tradeoffs. This will be a collaborative discussion where we expect you to think through different aspects of the design and engage with our team.
